Conference Day Information
Middle School Conference Day is Wednesday, September 24.
No school for elementary and middle school students but high school is in session.
An email sent to Sixth Grade Parents……
Sixth grade students experience much change: changing classes, multiple teachers, lockers. The freedom to walk in a bunch instead of straight lines always seems to be a favorite change! There are also changes for parents as your child moves from elementary to secondary school. Conference Day is one of those changes. Since middle school teachers see anywhere from 60-132 students in the course of a day, we are unable to meet with every family on Conference Day. Conferences are usually scheduled at the teachers request because they have a concern regarding a student. Most of our middle school conferences are a team approach, so if you receive a call requesting a conference please don’t let a group conference alarm you. Of course, you may request a conference with an individual teacher or all your child’s teachers at any time. But please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate additional conferences on Conference Day.

Caught in the Middle – a great place to be!
Caught in the middle!
Whew! This list could be endless and as tumultuous as it is – I am blessed to spend my days caught smack dab in the middle of your children. Middle school days range from ecstatic joy to unbearable sadness, from best friend days to worst enemy days, from somber serious to belly aching laughter – and that is just the faculty and staff! Our desire is to use this site to inform you of middle school events, alert you to any general student concerns, encourage you with parenting tips and suggestions, and share with you the joys of being “Caught in the Middle!” Thank you in advance for subscribing to this post to receive it via email. Be sure to spread the word to other parents so this can be used as a cost effective communication tool, and we can enjoy our time of experiencing being “Caught in the Middle” with you.
